Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 PRO
The World’s finest thermal monocular
The Helion 2 XP50 PRO cuts through rain, fog and foliage like a knife through butter thanks to its Lynred <25mK sensor, redesigned optics and image processing software.
The image is presented on a new SUPER AMOLED 1024×768 viewfinder screen that represents state-of-the-art image clarity and ability to refresh at high speed in extreme low temperatures.
The new robust and waterproof machined magnesium alloy body feels great and looks fantastic. It also acts as a very effective heat-sink that maintains optimal internal temperature that helps to produce a better, more stable image.
Due to the terms of our international license ‘Dual-use’ and must not be exported outside of New Zealand.
The new <25mK 17µ / 50Hz thermal imaging sensor provides enhanced detail recognition even in harsh weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. Small temperature differences will be clearly visible during conditions that are normally challenging for thermal imagers, such as rainfall, fog, or cold mornings. A more sensitive sensor also enables animals to be spotted deeper in foliage.
NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) is a measurement of the ability of a sensor to distinguish objects of similar temperature, measured in degrees Kelvin. One milliKelvin is the equivalent of 1/1000 degree Centigrade, so the lower the number, the better the sensor.
The Pulsar Helion 38mm lens produces an image with a wide field-of-view, ideal for spotting at shorter distances and when used from a moving vehicle or helecopter. Ideal for pest control, security and search and rescue.
StreamVision integration with IOS/Android and firmware update
Built in Wi-Fi module provides connectivity of thermal imager with Android or iOS smartphones or tablets. The smartphone and thermal imager combination offers a set of unique features such as direct image streaming, downloading and sharing recorded files, firmware update and many other.
